PDA is OK!

Engagement sessions are about love and romance and the chemistry between the engaged couple eagerly awaiting their wedding. It’s only natural that with love comes PDA. That’s right, folks: public displays of affection. The Bible speaks about romantic love. In the beginning, before the fall of man our Father clearly stated that man should not be alone. He clearly understood the purpose of agape love. Notice that when you compare the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) with the way of love (1 Corinthians 13), the parallels are unmistakable, making the maturing Christian a suitable romantic partner.

Don’t worry, I don’t mean I’m going to have you completely grope each other during your session – those aren’t pictures grandma wants to hang on her fridge. But I will ask that you show the type of modest and Godly love the Bible talks about. We will have fun, laugh and make the best of your session. During your session, I will ask you to hold hands, hug, cuddle, and even kiss! This is part of my normal workflow for engagement sessions. I just wanted to give you a heads up before your session so you know what to expect and have time to practice if you’re currently not OK with PDA.
