I get emails all the time asking do we shoot guys??? OMG, of course we do. It's just that guys are sometimes "too cool" for senior portraits and it takes moms a lot of begging to get them in front of the camera. BUT THEN...we have the guys who are all about the camera. They love the camera and the camera loves them as well.
This season, we have chosen our most sort after and simple outfits for our guys. It's sorta like what you actually wear to school now...except with a slight overhaul. Guys..here's four different looks for your senior portrait session. Let me know what you think and what you would have added or taken away. Of course I had to add my favorite pair of tennis shoes #converse
Boys' Senior Portrait Styleguide No. 1
Follow this styleguide for a classic cool senior portrait. Pair dark denim or navy slacks with a simple white tee, flannel, or henley. Each outfit works perfectly with sneakers or boots.

Boys' Senior Portrait Styleguide No. 2
Dress your senior portrait up or down with our semi-casual styleguide. Opt for a simple white button up or a patterned flannel, dress pants or casual slacks, and a skinny tie or a knitted beanie. Finish the look off with lace up boots or a pair of low skate Vans. Keep the colors neutral and these looks will photograph effortlessly.

Boys' Senior Portrait Styleguide No. 3
Our navy toned styleguide is perfect for the senior who wants to add a little style to their portrait without looking "done up." Opt for a bomber or a shearling collar denim jacket with fitted navy slacks. A button up or a simple tee works great with this outfit.

Boys' Senior Portrait Styleguide No. 4
If you love a short sleeve button up and you're ready to look dapper in your senior portrait, our final and most stylized guide is for you. Choose navy or light-grey dress pants to pair with a short-sleeve dress shirt in any color or print. According to preference, finish the look with a patterned tie, pocket square, or bowtie. This photogenic look goes well with almost any shoe.
