What to Wear for Senior Pictures
Are you tired of hearing and/or reading the same information about what to wear for your senior pictures??? Then I have a few questions for you? What do you expect to see when you attend your reveal session? Are you the type of person that believes, clothes make or break the person?
Here's my two cents. When my seniors ask me what should they wear, they're normally a little baffled when I show them what "I" feel will look amazing on them. Most of my clients have bubbly personalities. They want the WHAM BAM in their session. I normally go through their IG and show them different pieces that they normally or would NEVER wear to school. I'll show them a shirt to go with some tennis shoes to pair with something from our style closet. Sometimes I get --> MISS ARAEBIA...are you sure? Once they arrive at my studio, I have them try on the outfit and show them and they're amazed.
I know there are some people that LOVEEEE shopping and take this as an opportunity for a shopping spree, but you'd be super surprise at what you have in your closet. Also, for me personally....when you look back at your images 5,10, 15 and even 20 years from now, that shirt that you chose from your closet could very well be a reminder of when you and your BFF had a hot dog and saw a "cute guy" walk past the window, or that shirt could remind you when you had a break through at church. Or that jacket...a reminder when dad took you to the mall and it got chilly and he brought it to keep you warm. You'll see all those memories in that one image.
Now wouldn't that be a site. Seniors, remember that you only get one senior year with all your friends...make it a great & memorable one!
