Booking Process
I require a $500.00 non-refundable retainer and a signed contract to book my weddings. All weddings must pay the non-refundable retainer fee and sign the contract to finalize booking. I work on a first come, first served basis, so if I have two inquiries for the same date, the couple who finishes these two steps gets the date. I only allow my contracts to be out there for seven days before they expire. If the couple needs more time than that, I’ll send them a second contract. My retainers are non-refundable because at the time the contract is signed and the retainer is paid, I turn down all other inquiries for that date.
Payment Terms
Clients are free to use credit or debit cards, but they must pay through invoicing/MAP Shop. I require my non-refundable retainer at the time the contract is signed, and then the remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the wedding.
Failure to Make Final Payment
If clients fail to make their final payment 14 days prior to the event, it is a material breach of the contract and MAP has full rights to cancel the contract. {{Termination is by Client}}
If the cancellation occurs more than 90 days before the wedding, MAP keeps the retainer prior to cancellation. If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the wedding, the grand total under the contract is due as scheduled.
WEDDING CONTRACT - Must be signed and returned when retainer fee is paid.
